Born Josephine Esther Mentzer,this was a woman who went on to be many peoples heroine and gain iconic status in the fragrance and beauty industry,from humble beginnings selling her uncle( who was her mentor) Jon Scotzs creams to beauty salons and hotels to become a world leader in fragrance and beauty.

The perfume story starts with 'Youth Dew' in 1953 the dual purpose perfume/bath oil,nobody had done this before and it was an innovation in itself, as perfume from the French perfume houses was dabbed behind the ears not bathed in.
